\n We love that you are using our Application to take action on the issues that\n matter. By using our App, people have the chance to interact with each other\n online, join a movement, and make their voice heard. This is an exciting\n opportunity for everyone to express opinions and share viewpoints. In fact,\n these kinds of conversations are the essential building blocks of democracy\n and for bringing about change. But because people are passionate about their\n values, it can be easy to forget to treat each other with respect.\n

\n That’s why we created our very own Community Guidelines. Our goal in\n creating these Guidelines is to accommodate the broadest range of\n self-expression, while balancing the need for all members of the community\n to be able to use our application safely and enjoyably.\n

\n Personal Experiences Only: To protect the privacy of others, keep any comments, written testimony, or videos strictly about your personal experiences without disclosing personal and medical information such as names, addresses, and contact information of others.\n

\n Speak your mind, but keep it respectful. We are strong advocates\n of free speech, but we do not tolerate hate speech. Ever. Period. We\n refuse to support any content that attacks, slanders, or promotes hatred\n against people or groups based on race/ethnic origin, religion,\n disability, gender, age, nationality, political affiliation, veteran\n status, or sexual orientation/gender identity. Focus on the issues, the\n policies, and the facts, not personal attacks.\n

\n Keep it civil. We know our content can fuel the fires of debate\n and disagreement — but no matter how heated things may get, we will not\n allow any form of bullying or harassment. Be it physical, emotional,\n and/or digital harassment. This includes predatory behavior,\n intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal\n information, stalking, name calling, slurs, threatening, and/or inciting\n violence.\n

\n Excessive profanity is not permitted. Different communities have\n different guidelines regarding profanity -- i.e., some do not allow it\n at all -- but across all of our communities, please keep use of\n profanity within reason.\n

\n Keep our community welcoming. Drawing people into civic\n conversations is more effective when the environment is welcoming to\n everyone. Share clear, accurate information in a format that is easy to\n understand and promotes trust. Polarizing, aggressive political rhetoric\n might work with people who already agree with your message. But if you\n want to persuade the \n two-thirds of Americans who are not regularly participating in\n political life, you need an open, balanced, and civil approach.\n

\n No trolling. Creating content for the sole purpose of trolling or\n disrupting the community is not permitted. Creating multiple user names\n for this purpose is not permitted. As part of this effort, we require\n all users to confirm their email address with us to ensure that comment\n posters are real people.\n

\n Keep it real. We think people should be talking to other people,\n not bots. We do not allow the use of tools or technologies that may try\n to pass as a real person. You don't like getting sick, and neither do\n our computers. Don’t upload content with software viruses or computer\n code designed to interrupt, destroy or otherwise wreak havoc on other\n people’s devices.\n

\n Don’t be gross. Sexually explicit, gory, pornographic, violent,\n or needlessly upsetting content has no place on this application. We\n know as well as anyone else that emotionally powerful imagery can get a\n reaction, but if you’re posting to be shocking or inflammatory, you’re\n crossing the line.\n

\n Keep it legal. Don’t use this application for any illegal\n shenanigans. We want you to share your ideas and beliefs. We don’t want\n you sharing things that violate intellectual property rights — that\n includes copyright, trademark, plagiarism, and other proprietary rights.\n

\n Keep it free. We do not allow our community to use this app for\n commercial purposes. No spam. No exceptions.\n

\n If you violate these Guidelines, we may remove the offending content,\n terminate your account, or notify law enforcement. If your account is\n terminated for violating our {{link-to 'Terms of Service' 'terms'}} or\n these Guidelines, you may not use the app again. Please take these\n Guidelines seriously and honor them in the spirit in which they are\n intended. We will do our best to enforce them consistently and fairly, and\n ultimately we’ll try to do what we think is best in each situation.\n

\n Contact us if you see someone violating these\n guidelines or if you are feeling uncomfortable, bullied, harassed, or\n intimidated in any way. We are here to help, so please do not hesitate to\n let us know. Our policy is to take people at their word and engage directly\n when issues arise. We want our Community to be welcoming.\n

\n \"The mission of AIM is incredibly important to me. On May 12, 2022,\n I delivered my daughter, Aubrey, via emergency cesarean at 28 weeks\n 5 days. She weighed 2 lbs. 4 oz and had numerous health\n complications to overcome. It was a very scary time for our family\n filled with uncertainty.\n

\n I thank God every day for the NICU nurse who took the initiative to\n pull me aside and tell me I needed to seek help. I was so focused on\n my baby that I was unable to recognize the signs of postpartum\n depression, anxiety, and PTSD I was experiencing. She not only\n recognized those signs but also provided recommendations for mental\n health services.\n

\n This conversation changed my life. I was able to get the help I\n desperately needed and start healing from the inside out. It\n afforded me the opportunity to become the mother I wanted to be when\n my daughter was released from the NICU 70 days later and shaped the\n person I am today.\n

\n I share my experience and encourage others to do the same in hopes\n that policymakers will recognize the acute need to improve access,\n affordability, and quality of prenatal and postpartum maternal\n health resources. It is imperative to recognize that I am one of the\n lucky ones as not every story has a happy ending like ours.\n

\n I am honored to serve as the executive director of AIM and shine a\n spotlight on the existing gaps in maternal health care here in\n Arkansas. This is not simply an issue to address, but a mission to\n spread awareness and spark tangible change in the way we approach\n physical and mental health care before, during, and after pregnancy.\n Together, we can use our voices and our experiences to create\n long-lasting benefits for mothers, families, communities, and the\n economy as a whole.”\n
